Dermalyte Formula Library

Library access.

Every formula on the inside has been built in the Dermalyte lab. The percentages on the page are the percentages we used. The procedure is the one that worked, not the first one we wrote down. INCI ready for your label. Substitution notes for what to swap when an ingredient is hard to get. QC checks so you know if the batch is actually right.

Two ways to pay. One month, or one year.

Inside the library right now

12
Emulsions. Creams, lotions, body butters.
9
Surfactants. Body wash, shampoo, facial cleanser.
7
Serums. Water-based and oil-based.
6
Anhydrous. Balms, oils, scrubs, lip.

New formulas go up every month. On the yearly plan, they unlock for you as they go live.

Monthly

Builder Access

₦15,000 / month

Full library access, billed monthly. A good place to start. If you find yourself in the library more than once a week, the yearly plan is the cheaper way to keep it open.

What you get on every page

  • Full percentage breakdown and phase structure.
  • Procedure written the way we actually ran it.
  • INCI list, label-ready.
  • Formulator’s notes on what we adjusted and why.
  • QC checks so you know if the batch is right.
  • Substitution notes for ingredients you cannot source.
  • Downloadable PDF on most pages.

Who this is not for

If you have never built a cream before and you are hoping to skip the chemistry, the library will not teach you that. The pages are written for people who already understand what an HLB value is, what phase separation looks like, why a surfactant blend behaves the way it does. If that is not you yet, start with Emulsion Potency first. Come back here after.

How is the library different from your courses?

The courses teach you how to formulate. The library shows you finished formulas. Different jobs. If you took Emulsion Potency last year and you are now building your own creams, the library is what you reach for to compare against. If you have never built a cream, the library on its own will not be enough.

Have these formulas actually been made?

Yes. Every page is a formula we built in the Dermalyte lab. The percentages, processing notes and QC checks are written from what happened during real production. None of it is theoretical.

What if I cancel Builder Access?

Your access stays open until the end of the month you paid for. After that the premium pages lock again. No fee for cancelling, no notice required.

How often do new formulas go up?

Every month. Usually two or three pages, sometimes more depending on what we are working on. Builder Access sees them while the subscription is active. Professional Access keeps every page added during the year.

What if I cannot source an ingredient on the page?

Every formula page has a substitution section. It tells you what that ingredient is doing inside the formula and what you can replace it with without breaking it.

Already a Dermalyte student?

You do not pay for the library. A Student Formula Pass is added to your account once your course enrollment has been confirmed.

It is added manually, not automatically. If you have paid for a course and a student formula is still locked, log in first. If it stays locked after that, contact support so your pass can be activated on your account.

After payment your account opens. Log in, return to the library, the formulas in your access unlock on their own.
